**Riders/Hikers MUST have a DoD vehicle decal and current ID holder, as this is Military property (Federal Installation)**
It's a pretty basic Eastern NC trail, only about 160ft of climb over the 4.5 mile run, though most of the climbs are short, steep, and root covered, reasonably challenging. Overall, the trail is tight and pretty fast, with medium technical difficulty, and a few fun jumps, drops, even a teeter totter. *This trail system is closed during the winter months for hunting and reopens on Jan 2.*
After getting a visitors pass from the front gate of the air station, take 17 south. Take your Second left onto a dirt road. Go through the first crossroads, and the parking area is about 1/4 mile on your right. The trail is across the road from the covered bleachers.
